In addition to our regular offerings, head chef Pete Goodridge curates an array of exciting daily specials that highlight the best of the season. Pete’s ever-changing specials showcase his creativity and commitment to using the freshest ingredients, ensuring that every visit offers something new and delicious to try. There’s always something fresh and delightful waiting for you at The King’s Head.

Breakfast is available Friday to Sunday from 8am to 10am, featuring a delightful buffet with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit salad, avocado, juices, pastries, toast, tea/coffee, and a cooked breakfast of your choice, all for just £16.95 (under 12’s £7.50) Bean to cup barista coffee available at an additional cost. Guests can enjoy a choice between a 2-course or 3-course set menu, each thoughtfully crafted to highlight seasonal ingredients and bold flavors. Every dish is prepared with quality and value in mind, making it a fantastic option for both a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner. Come by and let our chef’s creativity surprise you with new, delicious options each day.

Meet the Chef

Our head chef Peter Goodridge Reynolds started his career with Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir for 3 1/2 years. He spent several more years working across Europe and in other Michelin star establishments. He joined us after a very successful 5 1/2 year spell at the Horse & Groom in Woodgreen.

Join us at The King’s Head on 21st November at 7:00 pm for an exquisite six-course dining experience featuring the finest seasonal ingredients. Enhance your meal with six carefully selected South American wines in our optional wine pairing for just £35. Plus, when you reserve the dining experience, enjoy a luxurious night’s stay for two in one of our rooms for only £50.
